Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

This site publishes filter specifications and earns affiliate commissions on outbound retailer links. Here is exactly what it collects while you read, and what it does not.

Introduction

This policy explains what this site collects while you read it, why, and what leaves with you when you follow a link out. It applies to every page under this domain.

Information We Collect

The contact and newsletter forms on this site are not connected to a mail server. Nothing typed into them is transmitted, stored, or read by anyone, and both return an error message on submit rather than a confirmation. To reach us, write to the email address published on the contact page.

Standard web-server logs record the request: an IP address, a browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. Analytics may record page views, approximate region, referring page, and time on page in aggregate. None of it identifies you by name.

Cookies

Cookies here cover basic site functions: remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice, and analytics measurement. No advertising profile is built from your visit on this domain.

Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time through its settings. The site remains readable with cookies switched off, though the notice will reappear each visit.

Third-Party Links and Affiliate Programs

Product links on this site lead to retailer pages. Following one hands you to that retailer, whose own privacy policy then applies to everything you do there, including any purchase.

This site takes part in affiliate programs. An outbound link may carry a tracking parameter that lets the retailer attribute a qualifying purchase to this site and pay a commission at no additional cost to you. That parameter identifies the referring site, not you personally.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the server is restricted. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so absolute protection cannot be promised.

Children's Privacy

This site is written for adults buying replacement HVAC filters and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, write to the address below and it will be removed.

Your Choices

You may block cookies, use a browser that limits tracking, or read the site without following any outbound link. Because the forms here transmit nothing, there is no stored submission to request or delete.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may change as analytics or affiliate arrangements change. The date at the top of the page marks the current version.
